isn't it interesting that americans don't seem to have the same problems with shortages in iraq of electricity, water, food, and other utilities? hey, we even get our own cinema! well, with the movies coming out of hollywood, this is probably more of a curse than anything else. 700 million, eh? as the collateral repair project sets 500 dollars a month aside to distribute in cases of emergency, our government spends 700 million to house our conquering forces. such a scenario is beyond a war crime. war crime? try normality, in the year of your lord, 2009.

US Opens Massive New Embassy in Iraq

In Iraq, the US has opened its massive new embassy in Baghdad. The $700 million building is the most expensive and largest embassy in the world. The 104-acre compound includes twenty-one buildings, a commissary, cinema, retail and shopping areas, restaurants, schools, a fire station, power and water treatment plants, as well as telecommunications and wastewater treatment facilities. The compound is six times larger than the United Nations in New York.
